Rock-a-bye Baby

A fresh new slipcover to soothe the mom while she rocks her baby to sleep. I pre-washed this brushed denim fabric in HOT water, and dried with a HOT setting to induce maximum shrinkage before constructing the slipcover. This slipcover was constructed a little looser anticipating that it may need frequent washing, and I recommended that she spray protect the fabric to prepare for the new baby.

  1. Very nice! How smart to prewash and dry on the hot setting!

  2. I am so glad you posted about the HOT setting! I am about to cover both my sofa and loveseat in denim, and with 4 children, 2 dogs, a farmer husband and sometimes a stray chicken in my house -- I am sure they are going to get washed a LOT!!!

  4. Love your site. I am interested in the Quick pleater however when I click on the link you provide it states that it is under construction? Do you know if she still sells these? I have been trying for a couple of months to find one.

LOVE the white/black piping chair! Beautiful!
